This is a study group sponsored by the Community Informatics Initiative.

We focus on research, especially around learning (in communities, schools, libraries, museums, online, and other settings). Discussions explore issues of problem formulation, theory, methodology, analysis, interpretation, writing, and application. The group provides opportunities to share and critique work in progress, to discuss research methods or new ideas, or to talk about any sorts of issues related to completing a PhD.

Discussion list: You may subscribe to the Community Inquiry Research Group mailing list via the Web at https://mail.prairienet.org/mailman/listinfo/inquiry or via an email message to inquiry-join@mail.prairienet.org. If you'd like to send an announcement to all group members, write to inquiry@lists.prairienet.org.

Weekly meetings: Typically, each meeting begins with a brief presentation of someone's research project, followed by open discussion both to further that project and to draw implicatons for others.

For Spring 2007, meetings will be thursdays at 1-2 pm in 131 GSLIS starting Feb 1.
