These are the arrangements for class the next few weeks:

For LIS 590PT (Pragmatic Technology), which meets 9:00-11:50 Weds in 109:

• Oct 5 -- no face-to-face class, so please cancel the AV for that day
• Oct 12 -- normal schedule (laptop, projector, internet)
• Oct 19 -- I would like to connect from Umeå, Sweden using Flashmeeting, with a speakerphone as a backup
• Oct 26 -- Same as above, but from Göteburg, Sweden
• Nov 2, through the rest of the semester -- normal schedule (laptop, projector, internet)

  Details on the Flashmeeting: I made the Flashmeeting reservations for 8:50 each of the two days (see below). You can see them and at the appropriate time access the meetings at . I set it as open, meaning that no password is required, but the assigned passwords are shown below in case they are needed. The laptop should have the latest version of Flash (at least Flash 7). In addition to the laptop, projector, internet, we'll need a webcam and a good mic.

  Karen: I'd like the speakerphone as a backup, but we may not need it. In case we do, I'll get the telephone numbers for the locations in Sweden. Can you or someone else from the office be available to make the international call for the class each of the two days?

From Cameron Jones regarding iLabs changes:

Hi all -

I just dumped a bunch of changes out on the iLabs site. Most were addressed at fixing things people have complained about.

Please double check my work and make sure I didn't break anything or introduce new errors and that you can still access stuff.

These updates are a complete fresh install of ilabs, so chances are higher that something might be broken. I've tried to check as best as I can, but more eyes uncover these things faster :)

Here is a rundown of changes:

• The creation loopback problem has been fixed
• HTML anchors in inquiry units have been fixed
• Can delete units now
• Description on uploaded files stick
• Adjust the number of units to be displayed in inquiry unit brick (default is 5)
• Some other minor ones that I've forgotten

I am still looking at some of the other issues passed around.
